Photos: Chief Otubela Buries Father In-Law in Grand Style

Chief Yomi Otubela is the proprietor of Lagooz College Agege, Lagos. He is also the Deputy National President of Association of Proprietor of Secondary Schools in Nigeria.
Chief Otubela recently performed the burial of his father in-law, Elder Gabrie Isibor Oderheowo Ogie in Benin, Edo State. Elder Gabriel Ogie passed on recently at the age of 80. He is the father of Chief (Mrs) Olivet Ebunoluwa, wife of Chief Yomi Otubela. More pictures after the cut.
Born into a family of 3 children and the only child of his mother, Elder Gabriel Isibor Oderheowho Ogie was persuaded to get married early by his mother. His background as a child from a very small family apparently influenced the high number of children he had. He had 18 children, 30 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Epa, as he was fondly called was a peace loving and caring man and he sued for peace always. Elder Ogie was an Educationist. He obtained his National Certificate of Education (NCE) from the College of Education Abraka in 1976 before he was transferred to the Teachers Training College, Ozoro Delta State as a Chemistry Tutor and H.O.D.
In 1981, he was given a scholarship to go to the United Kingdom. He attended the University of Hull in UK and bagged Bachelor of Science (Edu) in Chemistry in December, 1984. He was to later become the Vice Principal, Ehor Grammar School where he finally retired.
Service of songs was held at House of Petra International, 7, Obazuaye Street, Olihe Quarters, Benin City.
The reception/entertainment of guests was held at ITV premises, along Benin-Lagos road and was well attended by the crème de-la-crème of the society, all decked in the Aso-Ebi chosen for the occasion.
Celebs from across Nigeria, all gorgeously dressed, came to give Epa their last respect.
Popular gospel singer, Yinka Ayefele stole the show at the event. He was at his best, dishing out lyrics from his hit albums.
The Alagege of Orile Agege, HRM Oba Ambaliu Agbedeyi accompanied with his High Chiefs were all in attendance. Other top club members and individuals from Lagos were also in attendance to give Chief Yomi Otubela the needed support at the classy event.
Prominent among them are Egbe Arobayo Akile Ijebu Okunrin and Obinrin, De-Royal Brothers of Nigeria, Proprietors of Private Secondary Schools from all over the country, among others.

Members of staff and students of Lagooz Schools also came to give solidarity to their amiable bosses, Chief and Chief Mrs. Otubela. Lagos state Commissioner for Youth and Social development also came to show his solidarity and support to the host.
